Cash unavailable, Mbaye starts – Aston Villa predicted XI vs Man Utd

John Townley predicts Aston Villa's starting lineup to face Manchester United on Sunday, with Matty Cash suspended and Ibrahim Mbaye expected to start. Aston Villa travel to Old Trafford seeking to rebound from a 3-0 loss in Barcelona, while Manchester United enter after a midweek comeback victory over AS Roma. Under manager Unai Emery, Villa have lost all four of their previous visits to Old Trafford.

Cash serves a ban after picking up his fifth yellow card against Fulham, leading Townley to project Lamare Bogarde at right-back if Aaron Wan-Bissaka lacks fitness. Townley also anticipates Ross Barkley will partner Boubacar Kamara in midfield, with John McGinn, Johan Manzambi, and Mbaye supporting striker Nicolas Jackson in attack alongside goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
