Jorge Mendes informs Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa terms for January deal

Agent Jorge Mendes has informed Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and other Premier League sides regarding the terms needed to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde in January. Barcelona are open to selling the 23-year-old for €40m, but Mendes is exploring a loan with an option or obligation to buy. Balde is seeking an exit after failing to start a single match under manager Hansi Flick this season.

Manchester United previously pursued Balde during the summer, but Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring his situation. While Italian clubs AS Roma and Juventus have also reached out, Balde's priority remains a move to the Premier League. The player and his representative plan to evaluate their options and finalize a decision in December ahead of the winter transfer window.
