Christian Norgaard Everton return to Finch Farm training offers crucial midfield depth to David Moyes ahead of the Blues’ trip to Hull City.

Christian Norgaard has returned to training on the grass at Finch Farm, providing a timely boost for Everton manager David Moyes. The Danish midfielder joined Everton from Arsenal for £7 million roughly two months ago but has barely featured due to injury. Both Norgaard and fellow injured midfielder Merlin Rohl are targeting next month's fixture against Hull City for their potential returns to match action.
Norgaard's extended absence forced Moyes to heavily rely on teenager Harrison Armstrong, who has played all but three minutes of league action this season. That heavy workload has attracted a proposed £40 million transfer interest from Nottingham Forest, according to the Liverpool Echo. Welcoming back Norgaard and Rohl is expected to grant Moyes much-needed midfield depth and rotation flexibility.
