Iliman Ndiaye has left the door open to a future Marseille return after joining Manchester City from Everton in a £65m deal this summer

Manchester City forward Iliman Ndiaye has hinted at a potential future return to Marseille, stating he does not believe his story there is over. The 26-year-old Senegal international joined City from Everton in a £65million permanent deal during the summer, having previously spent the 2023-24 season with the Ligue 1 club before his move to Goodison Park.
Ndiaye's comments arrived shortly after the Premier League announced Manchester City were found guilty of multiple financial regulation breaches. City have denied any wrongdoing and officially lodged an appeal on October 1, 2026, maintaining that the commission's opinion contains clear material errors.
