Liverpool are close to announcing a very exciting transfer.
Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a historic permanent transfer for Mexican midfielder Gilberto Mora from Xolos de Tijuana. According to TUDN journalist David Faitelson, Liverpool have submitted an offer exceeding $50 million for the 17-year-old talent. ESPN Mexico's León Lecanda further indicated that a record agreement between a major European club and Tijuana is likely to be officially announced on October 14.
Bence Bocsak highlights that the proposed move reflects Liverpool's youth recruitment strategy under sporting director Julian Ward and 1892 Holdings. Mora's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, declined to deny transfer speculation when questioned by Record, reinforcing expectations that the Premier League club is finalizing the landmark deal.
