Liverpool have got themselves their Mohamed Salah replacement. That was essentially confirmed on Saturday afternoon.
Alex Caple of Anfield Watch argues that Liverpool have found their ideal internal Mohamed Salah replacement in Victor Munoz. After failing to sign a natural right-winger during the summer transfer window following Salah's departure, the club tested several left-sided players on the opposite flank, including Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and Bradley Barcola.
Caple contends that Munoz stands out as the best fit due to his direct running and willingness to stretch opposing defenses. Munoz has scored two goals from the right side, both assisted by Florian Wirtz, which the writer believes complements the squad far better than Liverpool's other wide options.
