Liverpool have got a new right-winger. The player himself confirms it - he's excited to play there for the Reds.
Liverpool teenager Rio Ngumoha has confirmed he is growing comfortable playing on the right wing under manager Andoni Iraola. Ngumoha stated he has improved substantially in the role since facing Newcastle, noting that featuring on both flanks gives him another tool in his development.
Alex Caple writes that Liverpool failed to sign a direct replacement after Mohamed Salah left on a free transfer. Consequently, Iraola has utilized right-footed winger Ngumoha on the opposite flank to help address the squad's lack of natural right-sided attacking options.
