Police are investigating an incident where a rugby ball was kicked into the Gtech Community Stadium during Brentford's Premier League match against Liverpool. Online video footage showed a man seemingly kicking the ball from a nearby building overlooking the ground, sending it over the stand toward the pitch before staff removed it.
Brentford reported the matter to authorities, condemning the action as dangerous and potentially harmful. The club confirmed it is cooperating with the Metropolitan Police to identify those responsible, warning that the incident could lead to criminal prosecution.
