Young star was handed start in place of injured forward…
Rio Ngumoha made Liverpool history by becoming the youngest Reds player to score or assist in the Champions League at 18 years and 54 days old. Handed a start in place of injured Victor Munoz, the winger assisted Ronald Araujo in first-half stoppage time to help Liverpool draw level at 2-2 against Villarreal at Anfield.
Liverpool had fallen behind 2-0 early following strikes from Georges Mikautadze and Sergi Cardona. Alexis Mac Allister pulled one back before Ngumoha teed up Araujo's equalizer. The young attacker has already earned international recognition, debuting for Thomas Tuchel's England senior team.
