Liverpool are reportedly ready to pounce on a major hijack.
Liverpool are reportedly ready to hijack Manchester City's proposed permanent transfer for United States teenager Cavan Sullivan. According to a report by Sport, Sullivan previously agreed to join Manchester City, but the move has reportedly been thrown into doubt amid City's current off-pitch situation and pending legal appeal.
Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward is monitoring the developments to potentially recruit Sullivan if the deal with Manchester City collapses. Bence Bocsak argues that securing Sullivan would align with Liverpool's aim to capture top global youth talent as English football enters a new era.
