Manchester United insiders have their own theory…

Manchester United's board and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe are reportedly accelerating plans to dismiss manager Michael Carrick following a 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth. Carrick's side has won only two of 12 matches this season, leaving them 16th in the Premier League. Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann and former Newcastle manager Eddie Howe are considered leading candidates to take over.
Director of football Jason Wilcox and chief executive Omar Berrada are set to recommend Carrick's successor to Ratcliffe. Meanwhile, Ryan Giggs' brother Rhodri criticized pundit Gary Neville on social media, accusing the former defender of protecting Ratcliffe instead of holding ownership accountable.
