Manchester City face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday in their first outing since they were found guilty of breaching financial rules over a nine-season period.

The Premier League has confirmed Chris Kavanagh will referee Manchester City's upcoming clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. Kavanagh will be assisted by Dan Cook and Nick Greenhalgh, with Andy Madley serving as the fourth official. Paul Howard will act as the video assistant referee alongside assistant VAR Nick Hopton.
The fixture marks Manchester City's first match since an independent panel found the club guilty of breaching financial rules across a nine-season period. City, who maintain their innocence, have appealed the decision regarding findings that they hid more than £900 million.
