UEFA is monitoring developments and will wait until the end of the Premier League's disciplinary process before deciding whether to take any potential action against Manchester City.

UEFA is actively monitoring developments and waiting for the Premier League disciplinary process to conclude before deciding whether to take potential action against Manchester City. An independent commission recently found Manchester City guilty of more than 100 rule breaches between 2009 and 2018. These breaches included five charges of failing to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, with findings that ownership disguised £830m of funding as sponsorship income.
Manchester City strongly denies any wrongdoing and has formally lodged an appeal against the ruling, citing material errors in the verdict. While updated Premier League rules aim to conclude appeals within 12 weeks, City may argue against the fast-track timeline, potentially extending the legal process further.
