JJ Gabriel transfer truth as ex-Premier League striker arrives – Manchester United Academy Notebook

Real Madrid are in pole position to sign Manchester United academy prospect JJ Gabriel on a permanent transfer, though United insist no direct contact has occurred. The potential deal is reportedly at an advanced stage but remains subject to strict FIFA regulations governing the transfer of minors. Gabriel has spent the past six weeks training in Spain after his camp requested a departure from the club following his appearance in September.

Manchester United are expected to pursue legal action to secure a fair compensation fee if Gabriel completes his move. Elsewhere in the academy, former Premier League striker Cameron Jerome has joined Adam Lawrence's Under-21 coaching staff as an individual development coach, alongside the appointment of former FA coach Peter Sturgess.
