Manchester United are preparing a tribute to mark the 40th anniversary of Sir Alex Ferguson's appointment as manager. The club will reportedly host an invite-only dinner at Old Trafford over the weekend to honor the legendary Scottish manager, who officially took charge of the team on November 6, 1986.
Around 100 specially selected guests from across Ferguson's career will attend the celebration. Ferguson won 38 major trophies during his 27 years in the dugout, including 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies.
