Manchester United Women's youth stars have hit another incredible milestone to keep their sensational rise ongoing, the club has confirmed.

Manchester United Women Under-21s have qualified for Division 1 in the second phase of the Professional Game Academy season. The team secured their spot after finishing top of the northern table with 13 points across six matches, edging out rivals Liverpool on goal difference. United recorded victories against Liverpool, Sunderland, Durham, and Newcastle during their group campaign.
Women's Academy manager Amanda Goodwin praised the squad's achievement, highlighting individual progress and the valuable exposure granted to several Under-16 players. Goodwin emphasized that developing players for the top level remains the academy's primary measure of success alongside fostering a winning mentality. Phase 2 of the PGA campaign is scheduled to begin later this month.
