Senne Lammens: Belgian media deliver verdict on United star’s Turkey performance

Belgian media outlets have praised Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens following his strong performance against Turkey on October 2, 2026. Lammens started Belgium's recent international fixtures in place of Thibaut Courtois, earning match ratings of seven out of 10 from Het Nieuwsblad and Het Laatste Nieuws, while Voetbal Primeur awarded him an eight out of 10. Outlets highlighted his composure and noted he repeatedly thwarted Turkey's Arda Guler.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper has recorded two clean sheets in three international matches during the window, including a 2-0 victory against Italy. Lammens' positive form for the national team follows a difficult start to the 2026/27 campaign with Manchester United, who sit 12th in the Premier League after five matches.
