Bruno Fernandes has been the Manchester United hero in recent seasons but finds himself in another struggling side

Wayne Rooney warned that an "explosion" is coming from Bruno Fernandes if the Manchester United midfielder continues shouldering the club's heavy burden amid poor form. Speaking on The Overlap's Stick to United podcast, Rooney suggested moving Fernandes deeper or resting him altogether to reset the midfield, arguing that the Portuguese captain appears exhausted from repeatedly carrying the side.
Manchester United have won only twice in their last eight matches across all competitions, enduring a four-game winless streak. Former defender Phil Bardsley agreed with Rooney, noting that Fernandes looks fed up and that other players in the squad must step up to alleviate the pressure.
