After another difficult week for Newcastle United, it would be putting it mildly to say Saturday’s trip to Fulham feels like a big one for Matthias Jaissle.
Newcastle United face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday following consecutive defeats against Everton, including a 1-0 league loss and a Carabao Cup exit. Writer Olly Hawkins previews the Premier League fixture as critical for manager Matthias Jaissle, highlighting a need for rapid tactical improvement and squad response after poor recent performances.
Newcastle deal with multiple squad absences, including Joelinton's injury, Jacob Ramsey's suspension, and doubts surrounding Lewis Miley. Predicted lineups feature Malick Thiaw returning to Newcastle's defence and William Osula in attack, while Hawkins predicts a 2-1 victory for Fulham.
