Newcastle United winger Antonio Cordero has stated he is delighted with his current loan spell at Spanish side Cádiz CF. The 19-year-old revealed in an interview that he rejected other lucrative offers during the summer to return to the Segunda División outfit on a fresh season-long loan, motivated by faith in the club's sporting project and strong fan support.
Cordero has enjoyed a productive start to the season, registering three goals and an assist across eight matches, which included a recent brace in a 4-0 win against CD Leganés. The Spanish youth international is scheduled to return to Newcastle United when his loan concludes at the end of the season, where his contract runs until 2030.
