The international window has not been short of injury concerns for Newcastle United but better news is on the horizon

Lewis Miley has been cleared to resume training with Newcastle United next week following a precautionary withdrawal from the England Under-21 camp due to a knock. Newcastle medics assessed the 20-year-old midfielder, confirming he sustained no serious damage ahead of the October 12 match against Coventry City.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen remains under medical assessment following MRI scans on a hamstring injury suffered with France's Under-21 team. Manager Matthias Jaissle is also evaluating Jacob Ramsey's thigh injury, while 18-year-old Sean Steur impressed for the Netherlands Under-21s.
