‘A real machine’ – Positive Dejan Kulusevski injury update from Tottenham team-mate

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski is nearing a return to action after being sidelined for over 500 days due to a complex right knee patella injury. Teammate Lucas Bergvall praised the 26-year-old's progress in training, calling him a "real machine" as he targets a place in Roberto De Zerbi's matchday squad following the international break.

Kulusevski missed the entirety of last season and the summer World Cup before returning to full first-team training late last month. Sweden manager Graham Potter opted against selecting the forward for international duty to allow him to build fitness at Tottenham's Hotspur Way training center.
