Harry Kane nears a Bayern Munich extension with a clause granting Tottenham matching rights on future Premier League offers.

Harry Kane is nearing a contract extension with Bayern Munich, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano via Football London. The new deal effectively cools speculation surrounding an immediate return to Tottenham Hotspur for the 33-year-old forward, who has scored 152 goals in 154 competitive appearances since moving to Germany in 2023.
The proposed agreement reportedly includes a matching rights clause that allows Tottenham to match any future bid submitted by an English rival. This arrangement provides Spurs the opportunity of first refusal if Kane decides to return to the Premier League under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
