Tottenham Hotspur plan a sensational €130 million January offer for Atlético Madrid star Julián Alvarez, according to reports.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a club-record €130 million (£113 million) bid to sign Atlético Madrid forward Julian Alvarez in the January transfer window. According to reports cited from Spanish outlet El Nacional via Transfer News Live, the North London side hopes to land the Argentine striker to serve as their main attacking focal point under head coach Roberto De Zerbi.
To tempt Alvarez to agree to the permanent move, Spurs are reportedly willing to insert a unique release clause enabling him to join FC Barcelona in the future. However, securing a deal mid-season remains a major hurdle, as Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone views Alvarez as a crucial part of his project.
