New Aberdeen chief executive Adrian Bevington has revealed his ambition to expand the club into a global brand and secure the future of sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel. Bevington plans to hold contract discussions with Pfannenstiel, whose deal expires in the summer, expressing a strong desire to continue working with the German director.
Bevington emphasized utilizing digital channels, retail, and membership to tap into international support, alongside targeting a consistent return to European competition to boost club revenues and global visibility. Drawing on past leadership roles with the Football Association and Middlesbrough, Bevington also affirmed he will handle senior board communications while keeping manager Stephen Robinson at the forefront.
