Camilo Duran and Benjamin Nygren scored the goals in a 2-0 victory at Fir Park.

Celtic ended a three-game losing streak by defeating Motherwell 2-0 at Fir Park to return to the top of the Scottish Premiership. Martin O'Neill's side reclaimed first place from Rangers thanks to an early strike from Camilo Duran in the ninth minute and a 58th-minute goal from Benjamin Nygren. The victory marked Celtic's seventh win in eight league matches this season, while Motherwell suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.
Winger Jota made his return to action as a substitute in the 73rd minute for his 100th appearance, having spent almost 18 months sidelined with cruciate ligament damage. Despite the result on the pitch, Celtic supporters voiced their frustration toward major shareholder Dermot Desmond with chants and banners throughout the encounter following tensions during the recent international break.
