Celtic star Mika Baur shares special moment with Jurgen Klopp before Germany debut
Celtic midfielder Mika Baur shared a touchline moment with Germany manager Jurgen Klopp before making his international debut against Serbia. The 22-year-old was introduced as a second-half substitute to play the final 14 minutes in a 2-0 Nations League victory. Klopp embraced Baur, kissed him on the cheek, and delivered final instructions prior to his introduction.
By taking the field, Baur became the 1000th player to represent the German senior national team. Germany secured the victory with goals from Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz. Following his call-up, Baur credited his club move to Celtic for helping him earn a spot in Klopp's squad.
