20-year-old always believed he would make the grade at Parkhead…

Celtic right-back Colby Donovan has signed a new five-year contract extension, committing his future to the Scottish club until the summer of 2031. The 20-year-old academy graduate has established himself as a regular starter under manager Martin O'Neill, starting 15 of 17 matches across all competitions this season in place of the injured Alistair Johnston.
Manager O'Neill praised Donovan as exceptional, highlighting his maturity, strength, and attitude following the agreement. Donovan, who recently earned his first senior Scotland national team call-up under head coach Sebastien Pocognoli, expressed delight at fulfilling his childhood ambition of securing a long-term role with the Celtic first team.
