Callum Paterson has called on more transparency from football authorities around processes and admits fan communication could have been better…

Hearts chairman Paterson has broken his silence regarding the controversial final-day scenes at Celtic Park, calling the end-of-game circumstances "completely unacceptable." Celtic clinched the title with a 3-1 victory over Derek McInnes' Hearts, but the match was halted early by referee Don Robertson after Callum Osmand's third goal sparked a mass pitch invasion. Hearts players were forced to flee directly onto their team bus while still dressed in their match kits.
Paterson also criticized the decision by league authorities to schedule the title decider away from home despite Hearts leading the league at the split. He called for greater transparency and consistency from Scottish football authorities regarding key decisions. Addressing the club's post-match silence, Paterson cited an ongoing police investigation into alleged assaults on players, which has already resulted in one person charged and another banned.
