Askou left Motherwell to take charge of Les Violets over the summer and was clipped losing his rag during the half-time interval in the clash with Monaco

Toulouse shared video footage of manager Jens Berthel Askou delivering an expletive-laden half-time team talk that inspired a comeback against Monaco. Trailing 2-0 following first-half goals from Monaco's Edian Diop and Matthis Albine, Askou urged his squad to fight back. His team responded in the second half with goals from Casper Tengstedt and Sion Oppong to rescue a 2-2 draw.
Askou joined the Ligue 1 club after leading Scottish Premiership side Motherwell to a fourth-place finish last season. Former Motherwell loanee Stephen Welsh praised Askou's coaching impact, crediting the Danish manager with revitalizing his career prior to his transfer from Celtic to Swansea City and subsequent Scotland call-up.
