A Rangers academy player could be selected to play for England in an upcoming tournament, according to a report.
Rangers academy defender David Odunukan is reportedly set to receive a call-up to represent England at an upcoming international tournament. The Football Association has notified Rangers of its intention to select the 15-year-old center-back for the Tournoi International de Val-de-Marne in France, where England under-16s will play France, Italy, and Japan.
London-born Odunukan relocated to Scotland as an infant and previously participated in Scotland under-16 training camps, leaving the Scottish FA eager to secure his international future. Odunukan joined Rangers from Motherwell last year and is eligible to sign his first professional contract at the turn of the year.
