Motherwell hit with €25k UEFA fine and SPFL reprimand over pitch incursions and pyro

Motherwell have been fined a total of €25,000 by UEFA following incidents during their Conference League tie against German side SC Freiburg. The Scottish club was fined €5,000 for a pitch incursion during the first leg at Fir Park and an additional €20,000 for pyrotechnic discharges during the second leg in Germany.

In addition to the European penalties, Motherwell received an official reprimand from the SPFL for a pitch invasion during an away domestic draw against St Mirren in Paisley. In a statement to supporters, the club expressed disappointment that appeals for responsible behavior were ignored by a minority of fans and pleaded against further incidents.
