Gerrard discreetly returned to Ibrox last month as Gers battered their arch rivals 3-0 in the last eight of the Premier Sports Cup

Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard revealed he avoids attending games at Ibrox out of respect for current manager Derek McInnes. Speaking on Open Goal, Gerrard explained he remains reluctant to watch from the directors' box in a suit because he does not want to undermine whichever manager is currently in charge.
Gerrard did make an exception by quietly attending Rangers' 3-0 Premier Sports Cup victory over Celtic last month. Despite ongoing speculation about a potential managerial return, Gerrard stated he is currently happy working in television with TNT and enjoying family life.
