Scotland and Hull City striker Oli McBurnie will undergo medical tests after coughing up blood during a weekend draw against Brentford. Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic revealed that the 30-year-old forward sustained a blow to his ribs and suffered the issue at halftime of the match.
Despite the knock, McBurnie scored a penalty during the game, ending a 931-day Premier League goal drought. Jakirovic expressed concern that McBurnie was left unprotected by referees, while the forward aims to stay fit for upcoming Nations League fixtures.
