Milan defender Koni De Winter insists they are not thrown by the surprising Inter tactical changes in the Derby della Madonnina. ‘We have a solid base and trust ourselves.’
AC Milan defender Koni De Winter stated that his team trusts their tactical principles despite Inter's unexpected 3-4-2-1 lineup in the Derby della Madonnina. Speaking ahead of the clash at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, De Winter expressed confidence that Milan can rely on their solid base and adjust during the game if needed.
Milan entered the derby seeking a rebound after suffering their first Serie A loss of the season, a 4-2 defeat to Bologna. The Rossoneri welcomed Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot, and Diego Moreira back into the starting lineup, although several key players including Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek remained sidelined by injuries.
