Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini praised his team's prolific attacking form following a 5-2 away victory against Udinese on Saturday. Gasperini noted that scoring high volumes of goals with multiple different players provides an encouraging signal for the squad. The win extended Roma's unbeaten start to the 2026-27 Serie A campaign to 10 matches, with Bryan Cristante, Rodrigo Mora, Donyell Malen, Evan Ndicka, and Daniele Ghilardi all finding the net.
Despite holding a 4-0 lead at half-time, Roma conceded twice in the second half. Gasperini attributed the drop in intensity to fatigue during an intense schedule of eight matches in 20 days ahead of an upcoming trip to Manchester. He also highlighted the contributions of emerging young players and anticipated squad rotation once injured players like Mile Svilar, Manu Kone, Paulo Dybala, and Lorenzo Pellegrini return.
