Gasperini: ‘Roma want to start where we left off, Mourinho has something special’

Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini hopes his team can resume their strong momentum following the international break, while praising former Roma manager Jose Mourinho ahead of their upcoming Champions League clash with Real Madrid. Roma currently lead the Serie A standings unbeaten with four wins and one draw from their opening five league matches.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Gasperini highlighted upcoming matches against Como and Real Madrid, while providing injury updates on Bryan Cristante and Donyell Malen. He also explained the club's choice to keep Paulo Dybala and Nahuel Molina from traveling to Lionel Messi's international farewell game due to fixture scheduling.
