Inter midfielder Curtis Jones will be sidelined for approximately three weeks after sustaining a thigh injury. Tests conducted at the Humanitas Institute on Thursday revealed a myofascial strain in the adductors of his right thigh. The club confirmed that the former Liverpool player will undergo further evaluation in the coming days as he begins his recovery process.
The 20-day layoff rules Jones out of upcoming Serie A matches and Champions League encounters against Club Brugge and Shakhtar Donetsk. Managed by Cristian Chivu, Inter currently sit tied at the top of Serie A with 13 points, with Jones reportedly aiming to target his return for the Milan derby on October 31.
