Milan Futuro coach Sergio Navarro revealed that project director Jovan Kirovski was the key factor behind his decision to accept the coaching job. Speaking in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Navarro explained that Kirovski called him in the spring and deeply impressed him during their conversation.
Navarro stated that Kirovski spoke about needing a sensitive coach rather than focusing on victories and money. According to Navarro, it was Kirovski's personal approach and sensitivity that convinced him to join, rather than the historic prestige of AC Milan.
