AC Milan have confirmed that Belgian winger Alexis Saelemaekers suffered a sprained right ankle during a training session at Milanello. Diagnostic tests conducted on the player ruled out any bone or ligament damage following the incident on September 29, 2026. The club stated that his recovery will be monitored and evaluated on a daily basis.
Saelemaekers is ruled out of Milan's upcoming match against Padova. His availability remains uncertain for the fixture against Sassuolo scheduled for October 11, with manager Ruben Amorim typically taking a cautious approach to player injuries.
