Roma Get Final Green Light for New Stadium Project

Roma have secured definitive administrative approval to build a new stadium in the Pietralata area, clearing the final conference of services at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The club plans to break ground in the spring with a target completion date of 2030, aiming to host matches for Euro 2032.

The 60,000-seat arena will feature a large Curva Sud modeled after Borussia Dortmund's Die Gelbe Wand, alongside a park, club museum, and store. The entire project is valued at €1.37 billion, with the stadium itself costing around €600 million, fully funded by the Friedkin family and partners.
