Napoli had got back on track with Scott McTominay, but crumbled in a 4-1 defeat to Francesco Farioli’s Porto with some terrible defending on set plays and late Rafa Marin red card.

FC Porto defeated Napoli 4-1 at the Estádio do Dragão on Champions League Matchday 4. Jan Bednarek opened the scoring for the Portuguese side with an early header, but Scott McTominay leveled the match for Napoli just before halftime. Porto surged ahead in the second half through goals from Gabriel Veiga and Jakub Kiwior, both capitalizing on defensive lapses.
Napoli's struggles deepened late in the match when defender Rafa Marin received a red card for bringing down Samu in the penalty area. Samu converted the subsequent spot kick in the 90th minute to seal the 4-1 win for manager Francesco Farioli's squad, leaving an injury-hit Napoli side defeated.
