The British Boxing Board of Control will discuss the performance of referee Kieran McCann during Ben Whittaker’s victory over Conor Wallace on Saturday but any action being taken against the official is unlikely.

The British Boxing Board of Control holds no concerns regarding the referee's performance during Ben Whittaker's fight against Liam Cameron, according to General Secretary Robert Smith. Smith noted that although the ending appeared messy and there were questions over potential knockdowns, he saw nothing conclusive upon review.
Whittaker secured a decision victory with scores of 117-111, 116-112, and 115-113, extending his record to 13-0-1. Smith confirmed the referee's display will routinely be discussed at the next board meeting, though attending officials raised no issues.
