Fabio Wardley’s bid to regain the WBO heavyweight title lasted less than six minutes as Daniel Dubois (24-3, 23 KOs) dropped him early and battered him into a second-round stoppage.

Daniel Dubois defeated Fabio Wardley via a second-round stoppage to retain the WBO heavyweight title at London's O2 Arena. Referee Steve Gray halted the rematch at 2:21 of round two after Wardley's corner threw in the towel following relentless pressure from Dubois.
Wardley was knocked down within the opening 15 seconds by a jab and right hand combination, struggling with his balance throughout the fight. Despite surviving the first round, Wardley could not mount an effective offense before Dubois sealed the victory with another barrage of punches.
