England players to get NOCs for Afghanistan Premier League T20

The England and Wales Cricket Board will grant players No-Objection Certificates to participate in the upcoming Afghanistan Premier League T20. Despite maintaining a policy against playing bilateral international series against Afghanistan due to the Taliban's treatment of women, the ECB will treat the league like any other overseas tournament, provided it receives International Cricket Council sanction.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on December 27 in the United Arab Emirates. Several English cricketers have registered for the competition, including centrally contracted players Ollie Pope and Luke Wood, along with Moeen Ali, Jason Roy, James Vince, Reece Topley, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, and Laurie Evans.
