Mayank Yadav turned out to be a fast learner. He quickly understood he should be quick, and quick he was come the second T20I.

Indian fast bowler Mayank Yadav rebounded in the second T20I against West Indies in Ranchi by focusing purely on express pace to take three wickets. After struggling with slower variations in the opening match, the 24-year-old dismissed Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rovman Powell with deliveries exceeding 143 kph.
Despite Mayank's bowling performance, India lost the match by six wickets. Head coach Gautam Gambhir praised Mayank's decision to rely on his natural speed rather than overcomplicating his approach, also defending him after a dropped catch during the game.
