South Africa could potentially play the rest of the game one bowler down as they look to enforce the follow-on against Australia…

South Africa fast bowler Anrich Nortje walked off the field with a suspected right groin injury during the fourth day of the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha. Nortje left three balls into his fourth over during the opening session. Cricket South Africa subsequently confirmed that he would not return to the field for at least the remainder of the first innings.
Before exiting, Nortje dismissed Marnus Labuschagne, contributing to Australia slumping to 45 for 4. The injury leaves South Africa potentially a bowler short as captain Temba Bavuma aims to level the series. Nortje joins a growing list of sidelined South African pace bowlers, including Lungi Ngidi, Ottneil Baartman, and Kwena Maphaka.
