After scoring 71 in the first innings, the NSW opener blasted 151no in the second to set WA 364 runs to win…

New South Wales opener Sam Konstas scored a rapid unbeaten 151 from 167 balls against Western Australia in their round two Sheffield Shield match. Konstas's century allowed NSW to declare their second innings at 5-262, setting WA a target of 364 runs at the WACA Ground. In reply, Western Australia collapsed to 3-30 at stumps on day three after quick wickets from Ben Dwarshuis and Jack Edwards.
The knock marked the 21-year-old's fifth first-class century and followed a first-innings score of 71 in front of national selector Tony Dodemaide. Konstas, who was dropped from the Australian Test team in July last year after debuting against India, expressed satisfaction with his batting form amid ongoing uncertainty regarding Australia's Test opening positions.
