Bangladesh will be out to defy Australia's strong bowling attack in the opening one-dayer at AB Field

Australia elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in the opening one-day international at Allan Border Field in Brisbane after stand-in captain Tahlia McGrath won the toss. Megan Schutt and Kim Garth were named to lead the attack with the new ball, while Nicola Carey missed out from a reduced 12-player squad.
Regular captain Sophie Molineux and quick Lucy Hamilton are sitting out the series due to hip and quad injuries, respectively. Bangladesh is seeking its first-ever victory against Australia in any format during their maiden ODI tour of the country.
