Across 130 T20 international appearances for Australia, Maxwell compiled 2,897 runs at an average of 28.97, recorded a top score of 145 not out against Sri Lanka in 2016, and claimed 51 wickets.

Maxwell also played seven Tests and 149 ODIs during his international career, concluding his Australian duties following the T20 World Cup earlier in the year.
